Intrusion Detection System – IDS Setup

Intrusion Detection System is a setup implemented for monitoring, detecting any malicious activity or policy violation within a corporate server. This course will enable you to set up your own IDS over servers and to detect threats. Starting from scratch, it’s an advanced course for corporate security.

Intrusion detection systems or commonly known as IDS are usually implemented on real corporate servers, This course will guide you to create a simulation over amazon web services, an EC2 instance and then running lines of code to setup IDS.

We will be setting suricata IDS, one of the most famous intrusion detection system and has been known for its flexibility with different environments. You can even integrate it with Kibana and elastic cloud. Everything depends upon your research work and your practice.
